This shiny sun is named Áine, after the Irish sun goddess associated with midsummer the joy & abundance surrounding it.
Áine is an original artwork made from hand stitched, warm gold metallic vinyl fabric, malleable enough to stitch, but durable and structured, with wool felt for the green of the eyes. The piece has hanging fixings at the back, so it can be hung on a wall as you might hang a painting or picture.
The piece measures 70 x 70 x 5cm
